ELECTRIC ŠKODA
WITH ITS OWN
REMUS e-SOUND
This rallye Skoda RE-X1 Kreisel has two electric motors and a REMUS sound generator under the chassis.
The Škoda RE-X1 Kreisel is not driven by a noisy turbo petrol engine, but by two quietly whirring electric motors. The associated engine soundtrack comes from REMUS and is released by a sound generator via loudspeakers under the front and rear trim.
The electronically generated engine sound is regulation in competition.
Not because the pilot has less problems with the estimation of his own speed, but to warn the noise-accustomed spectator at the edge of the rallye tracks of the approaching electric bolide.
