The R8 V10 RWS is bestowed with the aura of a manufactory sports car. The limited edition with 999 pieces owes its extraordinary class to the R8-manufacture "Böttinger Höfe", where a lot more is done by hand than on the conveyor belt.

Those who do without Quattro, carry themselves lighter: the R8 V10 RWS Coupé weighs 50 kilos, the Spyder version still 40 kilos less. In a V10 mid-mounted engine with 5.2 liter range, 540 hp and 540 Nm of torque this has a noticeably effect. This is demonstrated by the sprint record time of 3.7 seconds (Spyder in 3.8) to reach the 100 km/h-line.


Sounds unbelievable, but is true nonetheless: There is something that can boost the impressive fitness levels of the R8 V10 line-up even more! The new RACING Axle-Back system from REMUS made of high-quality stainless steel pimps the engine power by 1.3 hp and add an additional 8.1 Nm in torque, but at the same time weighs 17.8 kilograms less than the standard system. What ultimately turns "limited" into "unique" however is the typically rich REMUS sound. For it gives the 540-horsepower soul of your Audi R8 V10 a most powerful voice - and thus makes the Lord of the Rings into a Rock Star of the streets.

The REMUS developers have designed the upgrade system to fit exactly to the original rear-integrated tailpipes, so no trimming of the standard system is required. Easy: The RACING sports silencer is mounted in the middle, with balancing via the two integrated vacuum valves, which are controlled directly by the car's standard electronic system.
